Comedy with a pop culture edge...
Michael Leffler is an award-winning director/writer/producer who has brought his special brand of scum and villainy to DC Comics' Telly Winning Series DC All Access, Comedy Central’s The Jeselnik Offensive, G4’s X-Play and E!’s brand new comedy series The Soup Investigates starring Joel McHale.
Leffler has spent years honing his craft writing for film, television and new media. He specializes in balancing an expertise in pop culture, nerd culture, video game culture, cinema culture, and all sorts of other cultures with a passion for crafting a story well told. Leffler has written and directed projects for Microsoft’s Xbox Division, New Line Cinema, and Nintendo of America. He also helped develop the comedic voice of X-Play, tv’s longest running video game program (until it was tragically canceled by heartless executives in 2012).
Leffler is the co-creator and co-writer of the world-famous Dark Knight of Twitter himself: @TheBatman.
He has several feature screenplays currently in development, both comedic and dramatic.
On a more personal note, Leffler was raised in sunny Florida, his parents were circus performers (yes, really), and he dreams of one day seeing a Sasquatch.
